The Jazz Foundation of Jackson Hole plays big band swing and salsa charts while Dancers’ Workshop instructors offer lessons, tips and demos to dancers of all ages and abilities 8:00-11:00 p.m. in Dancers’ Workshop’s Studio 1, in the Center for the Arts. The proposed Moran/Jackson museum will host its first fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. at the studio and exhibition space of Scott Christensen and Kristie Grigg in Victor.  Tickets are $100 per person and include a dinner buffet and dessert by chef Rick Sordahl, who recently assisted with the Jackson Wine Auction. Munger Mountain Adventure: Outdoorsman and lifelong valley resident Anthony Stevens will lead a mountain-biking trip up Munger Mountain, where you can take in views of the valley, discuss ongoing Forest Service policy revisions, and enjoy the company of new friends. The Farmer’s Market on the Square will dedicate its weekly market on the town square to celebrate the life of Bill Paddleford. Friends and community members are invited to pay tribute and share stories from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. or between intermittently throughout the morning. As an organization that depends on local support, the Farmer’s Market honors Bill’s years of inspiring dedication and service to our community.

The Grand Teton Music Festival invites the community to a special FREE all-ages matinee orchestra concert at Walk Festival Hall for an awe-inspiring one-hour space voyage with the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra. The Festival Orchestra, led by Music Director Donald Runnicles, will be joined by the San Francisco Festival Chorale to perform Holst’s Planets alongside dramatic film and photo images from unmanned NASA spacecraft, and narrated by Senator Alan K. Simpson. The performance is just one hour in length with no intermission, and is free and open to concertgoers of all ages.  Sunday, July 27 at 2PM in Walk Festival Hall, Teton Village. FREE, tickets required

The Teton Arts Council of Teton Valley, Idaho presents the Shakespeare in the Park production of Macbeth at 6:30pm in Driggs, ID at the park at Creekside Meadows.  The Medieval Fair begins at 5pm with local performances, free raffles and activities for children.  Sponsored by First Bank of the Tetons, Teton Valley Trails and Pathways and Creekside Meadows.

U.S. Senators Mike Enzi and John Barrasso, and Representative Barbara Cubin, are urging Wyoming citizens who own homes or use facilities on land managed by the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) to make their voices heard on a proposed rule that could impact them. A revised rule proposed by the BOR makes clear how private individuals may use BOR lands, facilities and water bodies, including private, exclusive uses of those lands from trailers and mobile homes. The 60-day public comment period for this proposed rule is open until Sept. 16, 2008.
